Biography
I am an experienced Blue Badge Guide. I specialise in private sightseeing tours of London and England that are customised to suit your wishes. The BLUE BADGE qualification is awarded by The Institute of Tourist Guiding, and is the benchmark for guiding excellence in Britain.
The demanding training and examinations taken over a period of 18 months ensures that you have a top quality tour guide on your travels. Having studied languages at university, I then moved to New York where I obtained an MA in Economics. My time spent in the US was a great experience and has given me a special affinity when guiding Americans.
Beyond guiding, I am interested in the arts and have completed a part-time course at Sotheby's in decorative arts. I also serve as a magistrate in my local court, a voluntary position where one adjudicates on less serious legal cases.
With three nearly grown-up children, I feel very comfortable guiding families and enjoy sharing the richness of England and its history with children and adults alike.
